osservando che, per quanto consentito da una
valutazione a distanza, la moneta appare
autentica.

fisiche del quinario di figura (1,7g, c.12-13mm,
12h) non si discostano da quelle dei conî
autentici del periodo.
(2) Una concentrazione di
ritrovamenti di questo tipo di nominali nella
Gallia Cisalpina suggerisce al Crawford di
associare queste emissioni alle esigenze di
rifornimento e reclutamento di forze legate a
Mario, attive nell'area nell'81 a. C.
Il Sydenham attribuisce alla moneta una
datazione generica tra il 119 e il 91 a.C.
